TITAN2 stent TITAN2 BAS (Bio Active Stent) is the unique alternative to DES (Drug Eluting Stent) offering superior deliverability, proven clinical efficacy and long term safety. TITAN2 BAS (Bio Active Stent) is based on the unique Helistent helicoïdal design which has demonstrated its exceptional behaviour in terms of clinical results through various studies enrolling more than 1700 patients.

TITAN2 BAS (BIO ACTIVE STENT) - CLINICAL CHOICE

Sticker BAS Titanox Coating (proprietary technology) provides the highest biocompatibility and hemocompatibility ever achieved with any stent.

  • No potentially inflammatory substances:
    0% Nickel
    0% Cobalt
    0% Polymer
  • Widest range of coronary stents available today covering all physicians needs from 7mm to 28mm in length and from 2.0 to 5.0 in diameter.
  • 5F compatibility (from 2.0 to 4.0) clinically proven to be feasible and safe (Helistent 5F registry - 246 patients - 15 centers).

TITAN2 BAS (BIO ACTIVE STENT) - LESION ACCESS

New ultra low profile combined with exclusive wedge strut technology maximize the TITAN2 BAS (Bio Active Stent) crossability.

  • Stent allowing optimal push available through superior delivery system for easier procedure even in the case of severely tortuous coronaries or direct stenting (Helistent direct stenting registry - 300 patients - 20 centers).
  • Unmatched side branch access thanks to the unique helicoïdal Helistent design allowing treatment of bifurcated lesion as well as exceptional side branch accessibility (Helistent bifurcation registry - 253 patients - 15 centers).

TITAN2 BAS (BIO ACTIVE STENT) - STENT IMPLANTATION

Variable strut thickness (from 70 to 140 microns according to vessel diameter) adjusted to vessel diameter for increased flexibility and potential reduction in restenosis.

  • New mini shoulders reduce balloon overhang (<0.5mm) thus minimizing the artery trauma during inflation. The new flexible TIP facilitates the lesion access.
  • Perfectly cylindrical deployment thanks to the TITAN2 BAS (Bio Active Stent) exclusive helicoïdal design meaning homogeneous scaffolding and support throughout the stented area.
  • High radial crushing resistance typical from a tubular structure, combined with one of the lowest rate of elastic recoil guarantee an excellent and optimal immediate results.
  • Superior stent conformability makes the TITAN2 BAS (Bio Active Stent) particulary well adapted for lesions situated in curved arteries.

TITAN2 BAS (BIO ACTIVE STENT) - CLINICAL RESULTS

The TITAN registry (The TITAN stent. Data from a national registry - M. Mosseri and al.): 35% Diabetics - 52% lesion B2 or C.

  • 0% MACE at 30 days - including 0% thrombosis.
  • 3% MACE at 180 days - including 0% thrombosis.
  • This study has shown "Excellent immediate and long term results" with remarkable safety profile in complex coronary lesions.

Very SMALL and very LARGE coronary Bio Active Stent (BAS) pre-mounted on rapid exchange PTCA polyamide catheter

X-Small and X-Large TITAN2 stents Based on the Helistent unique helicoidal and tubular structure design, Hexacath engineers have developed a new range of coronary stents to fit the interventional cardiologist's needs in term of very Small and very Large coronary vessels. This additional stent range also benefits from the exclusive and proprietary Bio Active Coating Titanox (tm), which provides significant advantages over Bare Metal Stents (BMS) in terms of biocompatibility and hemocompatibility.

STENT SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE BY DESIGN

  • Lowest profile
  • Unmatched flexibility
  • Enhanced conformability
  • Minimal elastic recoil
  • Deployment at low pressure
  • High performance delivery system
  • Minimal balloon overhang

TITAN2 X-Small logo

TITAN2 X-Small stent zoom

  • Stent range
    Lengths: 7, 10 and 13 mm
    Diameters: 2.0 and 2.25 mm
  • Profile
One of the lowest profile available down to 0.92 mm or 0.036" opening new crossability perspectives to physicians.
  • Metallic surface area
Designed to decrease the metal to artery ratio, the TITAN2 X-Small stent offers an optimised coverage of 18% and 17% for vessels of 2.0 and 2.25 mm.

TITAN2 X-Large logo

TITAN2 X-Large zoom

  • Stent range
    Lengths: 13, 16 and 19 mm
    Diameters: 4.5 and 5.0 mm
  • Profile
Lower stent profile and a 1.9F shaft delivery catheter combined into a high performance coronary stent system reducing friction and risk of gas embolism.
  • Metallic surface area
The TITAN2 X-Large stent design provides better scaffolding for stenting in large or SVG vessels. Ratios of 18% and 17% in 4.5 and 5.0 mm diameters mean better support throughout the stented area.
